HerStory is a Women’s Movement Publication, emphasizing the power of women by storytelling and their impact on the world.
OVERVIEW
Herstory is a collection of narratives highlighting the inequalities women face. By amplifying the voices of outspoken women, it empowers reserved women to share their experiences rather than letting them go unheard. These stories expose the depth of injustice and emphasize the need for greater respect and value for women. At its core, Herstory shows how storytelling and advocacy can drive change and inspire a more equitable future.
TIMELINE
The first half of this project was creating various ideations and iterations of wordmarks. Through several rounds of critique and exploration, I landed on a typeface that proudly represents HerStory. The second half of the project was dedicated to organizing and designing a publication layout.
Wordmark
After a two-month process of research, iteration, and feedback sessions, the final version of HERSTORY is complete. The publication uses a single typeface, emphasizing strong, independent, and powerful typography that reinforces the narrative and purpose of HERSTORY.
